How wealthy do you think Ken Dart and his companies actually are?

Ken Dart has massive investments in Cayman, the US and possibly elsewhere when it comes to real estate but his wealth spans well beyond his investments in real estate.

Recently I read that he mad a $6 billion dollar investment in Flutter a company that owns most of the major iGaming brands. This makes him the largest single shareholder in the company now. Beyond this he's made a substantial investment in Evolution Gaming a Swedish company to the tune of another $3 billion dollars.

Back in 2021 he made investments in Imperial Brands and British American Tobacco to the tune of £5 billion pounds.

Both are investments that are considered sin-stocks but performers especially IB and BAT from the perspective if yielding high dividends.

Dart is not on the Forbes list presumably because he chooses not to be but makes me think his entire net worth is in the $50 - 100 billion range making him one of the richest people on the planet.

What are your thoughts I'd be interested in hearing any other stories or perspective that people may have regarding this topic.

Good morning @therealdeal. I too have seen the news about Darts recent investment into Flutter which is a large stake in the company.

I think your guess is about good as any and that you're probably right about the range of his wealth. That said we'll probably never know the real facts of just how wealthy he is because he's so private and secretive. Some people prefer to be less known and operate in the shadows, they don't need the recognition. He's certainly of this type.

When you search google for information about Ken Dart there isn't that much that comes up and it's surely by design.

That said the Google AI seems to think that his net worth is somewhere in the range of $11 - $13 billion which seems well off.

Just his public equity market investments make up for this amount so I suspect like it's suggested that his net worth is somewhere closer to the 50 - 100 billion range. An astronomical amount of wealth that rivals most on the Forbes top billionaires list.

I wanted to correct something that I said in my original post which was that Ken Dart is not on the Forbes list. That is incorrect he is but he's ranked in position #329 as of 2025 with an estimated net worth of $12.3 billion.

I think this estimate is dramatically under his actual net worth considering the ownership of shares in public companies. Just hist investments in the iGaming sector and bit tobacco account for about $13 billion so I really doubt that Forbes has their numbers right.

He’s got to be worth 40-50 Billion. The Forbes numbers are certainly incorrect. He’s sustained a few billion in paper losses from his igaming investments which are in the range of 7-10 billion across Flutter, Evolution, Draft Kings, etc…

His real estate portfolio in Cayman and the US has to be well over 10 billion, god know what else he’s invested in.
