What are some affordable sushi restaurants here in Grand Cayman?

Last night my wife and I ate at Taikun the sushi restaurant in the Ritz Carlton hotel. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the overall vibe as well.

It's incredibly expensive however we spent about $500 (US) for a couple of rolls and few glasses of wine and drinks for just the two of us.

We'd like to get sushi at least one more time while we're here visiting. I was wondering if this community has any suggestions on some other options. Any options that are close to the Kimpton hotel would be really great.

Hi Bill,

My recommendations would be:

Yoshi - They recently have undergone a big renovation and it's lovely in there. Also it's a great option for takeaway or delivery. Note that if you want to order from them you have do to it via their website yoshi.ky. Unfortunately they're not available on the apps (Bento or Lets Eat). Also being that you're staying at the Kimpton this will be the option that's closest to you.
Kojima Izakaya - Would be the second option that I'd recommend. The food is fantastic and I think that you and your wife would have a great experience there. It's a bit further from where you are staying but IMO would be worth the drive. If you go there be sure to try to the Surf and Turf roll it's one of our personal favourites.
Mizu - Located in Camana Bay this is another option to consider but to be honest would be my least favourite of the three options.

If you want to sit outdoors the only one of these three options would be Kojima Izakaya. They offer outdoor seating right on the water which would be particularly nice given the great weather we're currently having.
