Had the opportunity to eat at Kojima Izakaya last night for the first time with my family. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. We don't venture out often towards George Town to go to restaurants but Kojima Izakaya was definitely worth it.
Given how busy Yoshi is and how expensive Taikun at the Ritz is another Sushi option just makes sense. They've done a great job with the ambiance and style and it's hard to beat the views when you're seated in their patio area.
We shared a number of dishes including their Land and Sea roll which features tempura shrimp at the center finished with steak and eel sauce on the outside. Another highlight for me was their scallop appetiser. I'd recommend both these dishes.
Needless to say we'll be going back and we're very happy to have another great Japanese restaurant we can dine at here in Grand Cayman.
